On a Sunday morning I woke up feeling like going for a hiking and was going to be in Orange County, so I looked up the internet and found this Peter Canyon Regional Park. Park is located in the city of Orange conveniently off the 55 freeway Chapman exit roughly ten minutes east.

According to the park brochure, Peters Canyon Regional Park was part of a Spanish land grant called the Rancho Lomas de Santiago. The ranch was bought by James Irvine in 1897 and leased out to farmers. Two reservoirs were later built within the park to help regulate water supply from Irvine Lake (known as Santiago Reservoir at the time). It was even used as a training area during World War II before Irvine Company dedicated the land to the County.

Mary Stayed Out All Night 매리는 외박중

Story: Wi Mae Ri is a stubborn woman and the daughter of a failed businessman without much experience in dating. At her last year in college majoring in Korean, she is forced to drop out of the college due to her father's debts. In an unexpected accident, she encounters tough rocker Kang Moo Kyul. She is forced to fake a marraige with Moo Kyul when her father attempts to arrange marriage between Mae Ri and the son of his old friend, Byun Jung In, but her hearts become confused when Jung In turns out to be a perfect guy with a good background and prestigious education.


Comment: Moon Geum Young is so cute. She is adorable at some of the movies and drama when she is a child star. She left the screen to attend college. This is her first main role in the drama since her return, beside playing supporting character in Cinderellla's Sister. Personally, I don't really like Jang Geun Suk as he plays a similar character in You're Beautiful. However I have to say, I love the on screen chemistry between the two.

Sleeping Forest (Nemureru Mori)

Story: Oba Minako, a girl that lost her family on an accident in the past - or so as what she remember, is preparing for her impending marriage with Kiichiro when she finds some old, forgotten letters she received as a child. In these letters a small boy asks her to come to the sleeping forest to meet her at a certain date when they are grown up. She notices that the date is almost upon her and she decides to visit the sleeping forest in her old home town. Once there, she meets a mysterious young man, Naoki Ito, who seems to know everything about her, even about the time she has forgotten herself. Shocked, she leaves her childhood place and tries to forget all about the incident only to find out that the young man has followed her and is now her new neighbour. It seems that she has attracted a stalker, not knowing that knowing Naoki will reveal a terrible secret of her past and puts her into mortal danger. As the story runs, Minako starts to remember her hidden pasts that long buried in her sleeping memory - the slaughter of her family, the person that murdered them, and complex connection between her, Naoki, and even her boyfriend, Kiichiro, in the past.

Story: The series starts with the murder of a 10-year-old girl in 1984. 15 years later, after the case goes unsolved and passes the statute of limitations, a doctor named Goda Ryoji suddenly quits from his hospital and eventually becomes a detective. In 2008, he meets Sachi, a traveling artist in Paris, and shortly after Goda's return to Japan, he becomes involved in the expired murder case when another detective receives an anonymous phone call.

Comment: The drama format is similar to the "Nemureru Mori." Both drama ues all the episodes unrevealing series of mysteries to bring truth to one single mystery happened druing main character's childhood.
