Mystery TV Series: Dresden Files

A different kind of private investigator, Mr.Harry Dresden, is a wizard who uses his magical power and knowledge to solve mystery. The story takes place in modern day Chicago. Dresden teams up or rather we should say offers his consultation to bizarre hard-to-explain cases handling by the Chicago Police Department's Special Investigation unit under the lead of Lt. Connie Murphy.

The series is enjoyable overall. The presence of the ghost Bob whom is once a great wizard but is condemned to live in his own skull for eternity is a good flair. Unlike typical honorable and righteous portraits of great detectives, Harry has constant financial struggle, mess up love life, and notorious reputation upon other wizards. Surprisingly, his miseries are actually entertaining to see. Who would thought a wizard with great magical power can have so many troubles in his life.
